Mamu Design - Alex Pattern
The Alex jacket can be made for boys, girls and dolls! It is designed with a host of variations to make it fun for little people to wear.
Jacket
Variations include a longer, A-shaped jacket (for girls), with a back pleat (if desired), a shorter, H-shaped jacket (for boys and girls), plus a doll's sized pattern.
Hood:
The hood is designed in such a way that a number of details may be sandwiched between the seams such as plaits, ears (for bunnies, kittens, little bears, dogs, dragons), a row of dragon spikes, a string of pearls, a crown (instead of a facing -the crown may also be used individually), a knight ́s visor (to be fastened with snap fasteners). The knight ́s visor may also be used individually (with an elastic). For fancy dress parties pipe cleaners may be used to create feelers for bees, ladybirds or martians.
Pockets and appliqués:
Pockets can be made in the shape of acrown, strawberry, ladybird, bear, cat, or car, plus standard pockets in two variants. The pockets may also be used with appliqués including a dinosaur, spacecraft, robot (appliqué), knight ́s visor and car.
The jacket is designed for stretchy fabrics as well as for regular fabrics.

- 62/68 = 3-6 months
- 74/80 = 6-9 months
- 86/92 = 1/2 years
- 98/104 = 3/4 years
- 110/116 = 5/6 years
- 122/128 = 7/8 years
- 134/140 = 9/10 years
- 146/152 = 11/12 years
- 158/164 = 13/14 years
