Echino - Birdsong - Blue
Japanese textile designer Etsuko Furuya has done it again with this fantastic Birsong print. The birds sit on vines running the length of the fabric (ie in the same direction as the selvedge) with vibrantly coloured leaves below and birds circling in the sky above.
The beauty of this fabric is that a single piece can be cut to give a variety of prints – perfect for a series of cushion covers. Using the entire print also makes fantastic aprons or skirts. The fabric is medium weight and therefore perfect for both of these uses and many many more.
